St Margaret Ward Catholic Primary School

Lunch Menus

Remember that all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are automatically entitled to a Free School Meal.

In addition, older children may also be eligible for Free School Meals. From September 2026, free school meal eligibility is expanding. All children in households receiving Universal Credit will be entitled to free school meals.

We strongly encourage all families in receipt of Universal Credit to apply – even if your income has increased, your child may now qualify.

Applying is quick and easy via the Online FSM Application (OFSM).

For other children, the cost of a school meal is £3.20 per day.

If you wish for your child to begin to have school dinners, please contact the office on 0161 969 9852 or email office@smwprimary.net
