Term Dates
NEXT academic year: 2025-26
Dates will be published late November 2024.
If you have any queries about the dates for 2025-26 before then, please contact the school office.
Please note that absences during term time are only permitted in relation to illness or “exceptional circumstances”.
Unfortunately, a holiday (even if booked in error) would not be considered exceptional circumstances.
A penalty notice is also likely to follow from Trafford Council to each parent for each child.
E.g. A family of two parents who go on holiday with three children would receive 6 fines of a minimum of £80, totalling £480.
Please be assured that we do sympathise with the higher cost of holidays outside of term time.
However, there are many families who do choose to pay this, rather than take their child out of school.
The system of penalty notices is in place to provide some fairness for those families too.
Thank you for your support.
